A small Florida builder, run by the people who own it.

John and Natalie Morris own Eastern Homes. They started the company in 2018. John had already spent most of two decades in the trade by then. Today the company builds across ten counties, on our lots and on land our buyers already own.

Who we are

John Morris has been in construction for about 21 years. He runs the builds. He stays involved in every house we put up, and if something goes wrong on yours he is the one who deals with it. That is not a marketing line, it is just what happens at our size.

Natalie Morris runs the business side. Contracts, selections, scheduling, and the hundred things between a signed contract and a set of keys.

Since 2018 the company has built roughly 200 homes as Eastern Homes, mostly across Orange, Seminole, Brevard and the Treasure Coast, with more recent work down in Sarasota and Charlotte counties.

We are deliberately not a big builder. There is no call center and no regional office deciding your house from another state. That means we cannot beat a national builder on volume pricing, and it also means nobody hands your file to a stranger halfway through.

Three things we do differently

None of this is complicated. It is mostly just what you would want a builder to do if you had built a house before.

We tell you noIf your lot will not work, if the budget will not reach, if a production builder is genuinely a better fit for what you want, we say it. Losing a job at the first conversation is cheaper for everyone than losing it at framing.
The standard is the standardReal wood cabinets, soft close drawers, granite, 8-foot interior doors. Those are not an upgrade package you get talked into at the design center. They are what the house comes with.
One number, itemizedThe house on one line, the site work on another. No per-square-foot figure that quietly absorbs the driveway, the fill and the impact fees.

Ten counties across Central Florida and the Treasure Coast, plus recent work on the Gulf side. If your lot is near the edge of that map, ask anyway.
